How to read this
Under the current code, housing types come from the zoning district (R-1 through R-5 are single-family, R-5 allows a second unit, RG and MR allow multifamily). Under Draft V2 every parcel gets a Form district (which sets lot minimums and the maximum dwelling units per lot) and a Use district (which says whether household living and accessory units are allowed). This page shows both side by side and checks the lot against each minimum.
Current-code values were read from the City of Atlanta Code of Ordinances as of Aug 25, 2026, including the subarea use tables of the SPI (special public interest) chapters. Dashed chips mean a value was not confirmed from the code text: PD, HC and landmark subareas and a few SPI subareas on the current side, and legacy, special-area and historic form districts on the Draft V2 side. Conditional zoning ("-C") and overlay districts carry site-specific rules that are not evaluated here.
